Production on the new sites has continued. This update includes several bug fixes, upgrades, and changes based on user feedback.

    • Elected Officials Map: A brand new public map has been released. This map allows members of the public to view a list of elected officials given a location or address. WinGIS is providing this map as a free public service.
    • Responsive Adjustments: The sidebar is now resizable. This new feature is designed to accomodate different screen sizes.
    • The measuring tab has been completely reworked to make the process less frustrating and more understandable for new users. All controls are labeled, and users may now pick their unit of measurement before measuring.
    • The maps have been upgraded to the latest version of the ESRI JS Sdk (5.0).
    • Fixed a bug that prevented markup graphics from appearing on a printed map.
    • Fixed a server-side bug that showed blank taxpayer information during tax season.
    • Firm Panels now include a download link for users seeking to download a high resolution copy of the panel.
    • Improved loading times.
    • Added user-friendly popup alerts for when certain issues occur during use of a map. More of these alerts are planned to be added.

    • Many small bugs or oversights have been patched in this update that were introduced with the 5.0 upgrade.
  • WinGISMaps 3.0 Beta Release - February 2026

The WinGIS team is releasing an updated version of our maps. Our goal with this update was to reduce the time spent configuring maps so users can get straight to their workflow. Version 3.0 includes many long-requested features:

    • Functionality that was previously placed hovering over the map is now consolidated in the sidebar.
    • Popups explaining how to use the different tabs have been added.
    • Parcel summary data is now available when you click on a parcel. Summary loading times have been greatly improved.
    • Both the public and internal sites now have a parcel summary viewer (at /parcelsummary). This allows users to bypass the map entirely if they have a specific PIN in mind.
    • Layer visibility is now saved between sessions. Returning to a map should provide the same layer configuration as when you left.
    • Map zoom is now saved between sessions. Returning to a map should provide the same visible location as when you left.
    • Search has been improved to remove extra controls for different kinds of searches (DashPIN vs. PIN, for example). Now, just enter your term and press Enter.
    • Measurement polygons now display their perimeters as well as their areas.
    • The Geo Comp and Geo List maps have been removed and replaced by a tool available in the Markup tab.
    • The mobile experience has been completely overhauled to make maps much easier to navigate on smaller devices.
    • A wide selection of official ArcGIS basemaps is now available on most maps.
    • Bookmarks that instantly zoom your map to a municipality have been added.
    • Maps now have four different themes to choose from. These themes also work on the new sites.
